The Dreamer

My name is Jody Bartel. Like all of you, I wear a lot of hats: a woman, wife, mother, friend, employee, and self-employed (and got the side hustles going on)! I don’t think that really defines who I am, though. I am also a woman of faith, a business person, a musician, a poet, a writer, a cook, a reader, a helper, and encourager.

We are all more than what we do! I am on a journey of discovery about who I am. What about you? Do you define yourself by the hats you wear? What gifts do you have to share with the world?

My Dream

I see a world full of hurting people. I want to be a ripple in the pond to help make the world a better place, if only in a small way. This is my dream: that we would all be a ripple for good in someone’s pond, that will somehow change the world. My goal, with this blog is to invite you along with me to grow in faith and hope, to help, love and encourage each other in this adventure we call life. Life is an adventure! Let’s live it with all our hearts!
